This time I took a slightly longer walk in the forest and coast of the Käsmu peninsula. Before that, I went to Vihasoo to take pictures, and later after Käsmu went to Jõelähtme.
The first destination was Vihasoo. The drive took me straight from Tallinn. I wanted to get a picture of the giant boulder of Tammispea and the bench in front of the Vihasoo community center dedicated to the local cultural groups.
Then the road took straight to Käsmu. I parked my car in the parking lot at the top of the peninsula and the walk could begin. First I walked in the woods, I chose the way back along the northern coast of the peninsula. The forest there is very wonderful. Spruce and pine trees and plenty of all kinds of larger and smaller rocks in the forest. I took a lot of pictures. Many images are taken with the ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) method.
When I reached the coast, I let the drone fly. I took pictures with the drone from the top of Palganeeme peninsula.
While walking along the seafront, I took many pictures of different rocks by the sea, because they were particularly nicely coloured there and covered with algae.
Getting closer to the end point of the hike (parking lot), I sent the drone up again. This time there I wished to take pictures of Saartneem (Kuradisaar – Devil’s Island).
When the pictures had been taken with the drone, I went back to the car. I didn’t count the distances, but it took about 3.5 hours to hike.
A small lunch and then started on the way home. On the way, however, I stopped at Jõelähtme Church, where I took pictures of the church with drone.
