Saue and Keila

I got an idea to go to explore the Saue oak grove. And so that the trip would not be too short, I added the town of Keila.

The weather that day was beautiful and snowy. So I packed my things and set off. The first destination was Saue oak grove. It took about 45 minutes to get there from Tallinn, because there were quite a few traffic jams on the way.

I’d been to Saue a lot before, but I hadn’t been to the oak grove. When I arrived, I parked the car and then walked around a bit. I didn’t go anywhere far. Some of the footpaths had been cleared of snow, but not where particularly interesting pictures could be taken. So I had to make my way through the thick snow. This took time and got tired.

I spent about 45 minutes in the Saue oak grove, then I had to move on. Now I made my way to Keila. The plan was to park the car in two places and then walk around there. The first place was the parking lot next to the church and the second the parking lot next to the railway station.

First I went by the church. I walked around the church for a while and then headed towards the Keila River. There I also took the first pictures of my Keila tour.

After I had been to river, I drove to the train station. There I also walked around a bit and made a few photos, too.

And then it was time to head home. As mentioned earlier, it was a short photo trip that lasted about 3-4 hours. I had also intended to fly the drone, but this time I passed.
