Sunset in the sand hills of Männiku



I had thought that in case of an opportunity and an interesting sunset, I would go to Männiku quarry in Tallinn. There are interesting sand hills there that I was thinking of capturing.

I studied the weather forecast, looked at the sky, and decided that now was the time to make the plan a reality. I took the photographing gear with me and set off. A little drive and then a quarter of an hour walk and I was there. When I arrived, it immediately became clear that this sunset did not offer any extra special colour play, but I still took my pictures. Some other time I’ll try again.

I was there for about half an hour, climbing the sand hills and looking for good compositions. When the photos were taken, it was time to go home.
